Alexander Wang x H&M

6 November!
H&M — high street chain known for epic collaborations with luxe labels like Maison Martin Margiela, Versace, Marni and Isabel Marant has just joined forces with its first American designer, New York's Alexander Wang. Oh hell yes! The eponymous label made the announcement via their Instagram account, with the designer saying, "I am honoured to be a part of H&M's designer collaborations. The work with their team is an exciting, fun process. They are very open to push boundaries and to set a platform for creativity. This will be a great way for a wider audience to experience elements of the Alexander Wang brand and lifestyle."
Along with the online announcement, the two forces also celebrated their upcoming joint collection with a party at Coachella, because why not? H&M's creative advisor, Margareta van den Bosch says the 30-year-old Balenciaga designer "is one of the most important voices in fashion today. He understands exactly what people want to wear and does it with an energy and passion that’s infectious." The one-off lineup drops 6 November 2014 in 250 stores worldwide and online, and will include men's and women's ready-to-wear and accessories. Team Wang! Better book a ticket to Melbourne, stat.
