Opening Ceremony's Wall of Chocolate

Oh, and some fashion.

New York Fashion Week officially reached its sweetest peak with a boundary-pushing (and delicious) FW14 show from Opening Ceremony, featuring an entire wall dripping with melted chocolate. The chocolatey wonderland of Willy Wonka proportions also included golden tickets (Susie Bubble was one of the winners of an OC x Intel's smart bracelet) and mugs of hot chocolate given to guests as they exited.

While the cocoa nirvana was certainly an invitation for guests to get down and dirty with all the wall-chocolate they could handle, there was also a method to the madness — designers Carol Lim and Humberto Leon said they were inspired by a trip to Belgium and historical iconography from Antwerp — resulting in this collection and its sweet, sweet surroundings. The clothes themselves were perfect for a Belgian winter; turtlenecks, overcoats and waffle-inspired motifs. Miam!
