Oyster Premiere: Sydney-Based Electro-Clash Band Muscle Memory

Flex.

You may already know our good bud Dakota Gordon from her sick photography skills, but did you know that she's also a really talented musician? Some people, hey! The IRL angel plays alongside mates George Michelle and Charlie Omens in Sydney-based electro-clash band, Muscle Memory.

The bands origins date back to a conversation that took place in the front of a Mitsubishi Lancer (lel), and since that fateful meeting of friends, they've been recording sporadically and playing shows around Sydney. The band mixes harsh sounds and vocal lines with lush synths and hard hitting 707s and 808s to create a truly ~unique~ experience. It's some real contemporary tech-house, 80s post-punk for your Friday afternoon.

We had a chat to the legends ahead of their show in Sydney tomorrow with local ledges Low Life. You should probably press play below while you get to know them better...
