Watch Darude's 'Sandstorm' Played By A German Accordion Band (Without Irony)

Duuuuuuuuuuuuuun dun dun dun dun dun x infinity.

The soundtrack to the internet and our communal adolescence has struck again, in this artful reinterpretation of Darude's 'Sandstorm' performed by a German accordion band.

The EDM sensation that just won't quit resurfaced in this fantastically dorky cover performed by the Munich Accordion Quintet group and we more than approve.

We recently had a look at the viral power of 'Sandstorm' as it began to circulate again thanks to Peking Duk paying respect to the track at Stereonic last year.

The words "Darude" and "Sandstorm" have become somewhat taboo and the comments in this Reddit thread are evidence of the extreme and violent feelings people have about the accordion band's cover. It does, however, catalogue all of the incredible covers of the 1999 Finnish masterpiece, which have brilliant new track names like Dasand - 'Rudestorm' and So rude — 'Dan's turn'. If you didn't just LOL then you might need to see a doctor/priest, because you have no soul.

This cover performed on a toy trumpet is genius.

And this techy version pays tribute to the tracks nerdy chat room origins.

Then of course there's the OG 1999 video.

Thank you, reddit.
